Glass Art Museum -

The only museum in Israel
that represents the glass art. More than 20
glass artists show their works in a 1600
mr.sq building in the main hall. The works
of Gideon fridman who creats in recycled
glass. The visitors in the museum see a
short movie on the artists life and
explorers the museum in a guided tour.

Tel Arad National Park-

Remnants of an important city from the
Canaanite and Israelite periods
Tel Arad, on the outskirts of the modern
city of Arad, has both a lower and an upper
city. The lower city was inhabited only
during the early Canaanite period (3150-2200
B.C.E.). At the time, the 250-acre Canaanite
settlement with its 1,200-meter-long wall
was one of the largest cities in Eretz
Israel. |
